Healthcare Provider training |

CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer has been approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS)* and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program has been also been approved by many state health agencies and may be used to meet the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Resuscitation Standard. |

ASHI ACLS has been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by a wide variety of professional associations, councils, academies, and medical boards. The curriculum is consistent with widely accepted guidelines for professional level cardiopulmonary resuscitation. |

Advanced Cardiac Life Support |
|
ASHI PALS is intended for emergency personnel in intensive care or critical care departments and emergency medical providers responsible for the well-being of infants and children. The overall goal of the ASHI PALS course is to provide healthcare professionals with didactic and psychomotor skills training in the recognition and treatment of conditions that may lead to a cardiopulmonary arrest in an infant or child. ASHI PALS incorporates both prehospital and hospital management of pediatric emergencies. ASHI PALS program materials are based upon the most recent science, treatment recommendations and guidelines, and are an equivalent and acceptable alternative to resuscitation programs offered by the American Heart Association®, Inc. Additionally, ASHI PALS has been nationally approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS*). |

Pediatric Advanced Life Support |
|
The Advanced Hazmat Life Support (AHLS) Provider program is a 16 hour, two-day course that gives health professionals a timely and effective response strategy in the medical management of hazmat incidents. Participants will receive a four-year verification status upon successful completion of the course. This course covers a vast array of hazardous materials, including pesticides, corrosives, toxic inhalants and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agents. The AHLS Provider course trains the participant to: · Rapidly asses hazmat patients · Recognize toxic syndromes (toxidromes) · Apply the poisoning treatment paradigm · Identify and administer specific antidotes Non-medical course participants can attend the course, but will not become verified. |
